Plans for new Scholars stand

Chasetown FC could soon have a new 500 seat grandstand if their latest plans get the go ahead.
The club have been working with council planning officials following the 2008 rejection of their original ground upgrade.
The proposed plans will see new changing rooms,club shop and a function room,aswell as increased spectator facilities sited on the western side of the ground,close to the existing clubhouse.
The planning application is now out for consultation and locals have until 22nd June to submit their views.
Following the club's promotion to the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League,it has to satisfy the FA by the end of March 2011 that the ground will meet the requirements for that level of football. view the plans »
